H & J CBD Dog Biscuits

Many or our horse customers told us they were giving their dogs the horse discs to help with their pups overall wellness.  We started receiving so many orders for dogs, we decided it was time to make a CBD Dog Biscuit. 

You asked for it and we listened!

• Our hemp comes from Boulder Hemp on a small, organic farm in Longmont, Colorado. All of our products are made with love in our own Kitchen, Never co-manufactured. This ensures our hemp is always single-origin, never 3rd party sourced with low traceability. 

• Boulder Hemp practices less invasive horticulture to grow a healthy and potent crop, never spraying any pesticides.We use an aquaponics system that captures glacial melt from the Rocky Mountains. The aquaponic pond contains a rich ecosystem of fish, frogs, and turtles. We also compost on the farm and add these nutrients back into our soil along with the hemp stalks that were grown the prior year.

• We use minimally processed, whole food ingredients sourced locally and organically whenever possible and always traceable.

What are Cannabinoids?

Cannabinoids, like Cannabidiol (CBD) for pets, have exploded in popularity over the last decade due to the well-researched medical benefits that pet owners have witnessed. An important term to note when considering a cannabis product for your pet is the term, cannabinoid or phytocannabinoids, which are the chemical compounds derived from botanical sources that interact with the Endocannabinoid System (ECS) and other peripheral functions in the body. The cannabis plant produces over 100 of these compounds and can provide a wide array of medicinal value to both humans and pets.
