A Diva by Moonlight

Have you ever had your dream come true and then you felt you were so close to living out a perfect scenario when the rug got pulled out from underneath your feet. That is exactly what happened to me. In 2017, my beautiful black mare A Diva by Moonlight won the AQHA Quarter Horse Congress and then the AQHA World Show in the Senior Western Pleasure. I was over the moon (no pun intended) excited that my horse won at such a high level. In 2018, I started winning at every show. Again, exceeding my wildest imagination. My dreams were getting big as we were coming up on the NSBA World Show and AQHA Select World Show, that I would be on top of Moonlight winning the golden globe.
Unfortunately, I got the call that no horse owners wants to get. Your horse is lame. At first, I thought it was bad footing at the horse show and she would be alright. But when the MRI results came in, it was a digital flexor tendon injury on her front foot. Six months to one year off and my dreams shattered. Not knowing what else to do, I brought her home because nobody could rehab her better than I could. Since Heidi and I developed the CBD cookie for Burt, Moonlight went onto it immediately. So the rehab journey begins, stall rest, hand walking and then eventually I could ride her at a walk and jog only. Six months later, my veterinarian was so surprised at how quickly she progressed she released her to go back into training. All I cared about was my beautiful girl was healthy and pain-free
The veterinarians at the barn were curious about her quick recovery so I showed them the H & J CBD Oil cookie. I told them I truly believed that was why she healed so quickly and completely. As a matter of fact, two of the vets now recommend H & J CBD Cookies for their horse patients who have chronic pain. Heidi and I are truly shocked but grateful they saw the value in our product. The farriers at the barn are also promoting our product and the testimonials keep coming in. As for Moonlight, she is home in Colorado and in training to see if she has talent in another event. If not, then she has achieved everything I could have ever wished for and she can live fat and happy while producing great babies. Plus she is home with me so I can spoil her rotten.
So my dream of riding her to my own World Championship did not come to fruition, her health and happiness is and always will be the most important thing. So dream big, love your horse and remember that they are truly a gift from God.
