What is the correct CBD Oil Dosage for Miniature Horses and Donkeys

How much CBD do I give my miniature horse and donkeys?
10 to 15 mg of full-spectrum CBD oil is the dosage for miniature horses or horses that weight under 800 lbs. For horses, donkeys, and mules over 800 lbs. the dosage between 25 mg and 30 mg. Please note that hemp oil and CBD oil are not the same thing.
CBD Oil which is typically administered through a disc, gel, pellets or tinctures. We find that the disc (cookie) method is the easiest to administer.
Unlike human dosage, equines have an extremely sensitive intestinal system. So, administering the right dose is extremely important and calculating the correct dosage is much different than calculating human dosage. Did you know that dosage for dogs is typically the same as horses. Again, this is due to the sensitive Intestinal system of the equine family.
When it comes to CBD, more isn’t necessarily better. As a matter of fact, once your horse is on CBD for several months, you might find that your horse needs only half a dose. Your horses will let you know quickly if they need more or less. You will be able to tell by the way they are moving and performing.
