The CBD oil business is expected to be a $22 billion business in the United States by 2021. The benefits of a full-spectrum American made CBD Hemp Oil are becoming more mainstream. People are discovering it is a natural way to treat people’s pain and anxiety but it’s not psychoactive. That’s the big difference between CBD and medical marijuana.
So can you get high from CBD Oil? The answer is no. CBD alone is non-intoxicating. It will not cause you, your dog, or your horse to get high. CBD is derived from the hemp plant and hemp has no psychoactive effects.
CBD Hemp Oil has been used for thousands of years. The lumber industry was threatened by the hemp industry in the United States and they quickly got congress to make hemp production illegal. The very first printed book in Europe was printed on hemp paper in 1455. By the late 1880s, the majority of paper was made of hemp, including pages for the Bible and the first draft of the Declaration of Independence. Hemp paper lasts longer and is also smarter to recycle; it can be recycled three more times than paper made of wood pulp.
Luckily, the medical industry and everyday people are finding that CBD oil is a natural remedy helping people, dogs, and equines with pain, anxiety, and digestion.
The main difference between CBD oil and marijuana is the amount of CBD and THC levels present in each. The cannabis plant has flowering buds and is typically grown for THC extraction or so that the various parts of the plant can be dried up and smoked. Hemp is an entirely different plant, although in the same family, and it is typically used for the production of clothing, ropes, and other materials.
CBD Oil by law can have no more than 0.3% THC. Which isn’t enough to create any psychoactive symptoms.
